Each month, we distribute 70–100 boxes of food directly to seniors in our community, and we’d love for you to help make it happen.
These 30-lb food boxes are carefully packed by dedicated volunteers in our Quality Control opportunity, and this specific volunteer opportunity focuses on getting them where they need to go. You’ll assist with distributing completed boxes from our docks to DoorDash drivers, helping ensure they reach our neighbors quickly and efficiently.
Your support directly strengthens food security for seniors across our community; we couldn’t do it without you!
Volunteer Roles Include
Traffic Director
Help keep the process moving by guiding drivers as they arrive and pick up food
boxes.
Pickup List Verifier
Review each driver’s pickup list to confirm orders are accurate and complete.
Loader
Assist drivers by loading boxes into their vehicles and ensuring they receive
the correct number of boxes. This role also gives you the chance to make
meaningful connections with the drivers who help bring this program to life.
Note: This is not a delivery-driving opportunity.
Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
