Join Our Senior Box Program Volunteer Team and Make a Real Impact!
Join us in our Senior Box Program Deliveries Distribution! Every month, we send out an incredible 70 to 100 boxes of food directly to seniors in our community and you can be part of the action.
Our 30-lbs food boxes are assembled by dedicated volunteers and distributed from our docks to Door Dash drivers. But we can’t do it without YOU! By volunteering, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring food security for families in need.
What We Do
Volunteer Roles Include:
- Traffic Director: Keep the process running smoothly by guiding drivers as they pick up food boxes.
- Pickup List Verifier: Double-check each driver's pickup list to ensure every order is accurate.
- Loader: Assist drivers with loading boxes into their vehicles, ensuring they get the correct number of boxes. This role also offers the chance to build connections with our drivers, who are the key to this program’s success.
Note: This is not a delivery driving opportunity.
Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds.
- Commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude
