As a Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to the food assistance program. This position includes Grocery Bagger, Grocery Runner, and Grocery Checkout. By volunteering in these roles, you will directly contribute to ensuring a smooth and efficient operation, allowing us to provide essential groceries to individuals and families in need.

Volunteer Roles-

Food Bagging:

• Bag groceries
• Handle perishable and non-perishable items.

 Taking Groceries to Clients' Cars:

• Assist clients in transporting their groceries from the store to their vehicles.
• Use carts or other suitable means to safely transport grocery bags.
• Provide friendly and courteous support to clients during the process.

Using Carts to Transport Items:

• Utilize carts to efficiently move groceries from storage areas to clients' cars.
• Load and unload grocery bags onto carts, ensuring proper organization and distribution.

Helping Clients Choose Groceries:

• Engage with clients in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Assist clients in selecting groceries based on their preferences and dietary needs.

We recognize that hunger knows no boundaries, and we aim to serve both those with a residence and those experiencing homelessness in our community. Our mission is to ensure that every individual, regardless of their circumstances, has access to nutritious food and support.

Must be 14 to Volunteer.
