Partner Agency- Richmond Avenue Church of Christ Mobile Pantry

Description

The Tarrant Area Food Bank has partnered with Richmond Avenue Church of Christ Mobile Pantry to provide food to community members in need. The Church of Christ distributes food every 4th Saturday, and volunteer support is essential to continue serving our neighbors.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to support the community by taking on different roles, including but not limited to:

  • Bagging Food: Volunteers will be responsible for kitting and creating grocery bags that will be given out to community members.

  • Runner: Volunteers will be required to move the bagged food to the loading area.

  • Loading: Volunteers will be responsible for inserting the bagged groceries into vehicles.

Individuals as young as 16 years old are welcome to volunteer. However, volunteers must be able to lift 15 pounds, stand for periods at a time, and work in a location that is not temperature controlled.

Join us in our mission to provide support to those who need it most. Volunteer your time and energy to make a difference in your community!
