Expired

Description

Come have fun at our Quality Control Mardi Gras by volunteering with us!  Come ready to volunteer, wearing your Mardi Gras masks and beads. Most of all be ready to have a ball and help sort food for hungry North Texans! Snacks will be provided.

Volunteers in Quality Control (QC) at Tarrant Area Food Bank's Volunteer Center, will sort, inspect and repack donated products for distribution to a network of partner organizations in our 13-county area. Volunteers in QC must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30-40 pounds.

Minimum Age, Height and Chaperones:

Individuals as young as 12 years old and 55 inches tall may volunteer in QC. Children ages 12 -13 require one adult chaperone for every 1 to 3 children volunteering. Kids ages 14-15 years old require one adult chaperone for every 1 to 10 youth. Because Tarrant Area Food Bank is concerned about the safety of all volunteers, there are no exceptions to this policy.

Volunteers in Quality Control make a BIG impact by helping to ensure that our neighbors in need receive safe, quality food.

PLEASE BRING YOUR COVID VACCINE CARD AND ID.
