Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry program is a traveling pantry that delivers food, including fresh produce and nutritious refrigerated items, directly to communities in high need.
Volunteers roles may include but are not limited to:
- Greeter and line monitor
- Registration Assistant
- Parking Lot Attendant
- Shopper Assistant
- Set up/Clean up
- Carrying Groceries to Vehicles
Individuals as young as 8 years old are invited to volunteer; however, ages 8-14 years old MUST have an adult chaperone. Volunteers must be able to lift 10 pounds, stand for periods at a time and work in a location that is not temperature controlled.
