If you like to see directly where your services are helping, this is the volunteer opportunity for YOU!
Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Mobile Pantry program is a traveling pantry that delivers food, including fresh produce and nutritious refrigerated items, directly to communities in high need. Like a Farmers Market, clients are able to choose what food items they will use.
Volunteers roles may include but are not limited to:
- Greeter and line monitor
- Registration Assistant
- Parking Lot Attendant
- Set up/Clean up
Individuals as young as 16 years old are invited to volunteer; Volunteers must be able to lift 10 pounds, stand for periods at a time and work in a location that is not temperature controlled.
