Help Us Fill Blessing Boxes and Feed Our Community

Join Manna Joseph Storehouse and help us provide food, care, and encouragement to families in our community. Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome! Our team will help match each volunteer with an appropriate task based on age, ability, and the pantry’s needs that day.

For safety, all volunteers under age 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult throughout their volunteer service.

Monday and Friday: Pantry Preparation

Volunteer hours: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Mondays and Fridays are dedicated to preparing the pantry and our Blessing Boxes for upcoming distributions. Volunteer activities may include:

• Cleaning and organizing the pantry

• Stocking shelves and storage areas

• Sorting food and donated items

• Packing and preparing Blessing Boxes

• Setting up supplies for distribution days

Tuesday and Saturday: Preparation and Distribution

Volunteer hours: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
Public drive-up distribution: 12:00 PM–1:00 PM

Volunteers begin by completing final preparations for distribution. From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, we welcome approved families through our drive-up Blessing Box distribution.

During distribution, our directors lead client registration while volunteers help:

• Direct traffic and maintain an orderly vehicle line

• Carry and load Blessing Boxes into vehicles

• Distribute pet food when available

• Restock supplies and support the distribution area

• Clean and organize the pantry after distribution

Most able-bodied volunteers will serve outside during the drive-up distribution by directing traffic and loading vehicles. Other tasks may be available based on each volunteer’s age and ability, as well as the needs of the day.

Blessing Boxes for Volunteers

Volunteers are also welcome to receive a Blessing Box if they have a current, approved application. Anyone who has not yet applied may complete an application onsite. An application must be approved and valid before a Blessing Box can be received.
