Individuals are invited to volunteer for On-line Order Control at Tarrant Area Food Bank - West's distribution center (Parker County), where donated food products are sorted, pulled and packed for pick up by clients.
Volunteer roles can include, but are not limited to:
- Pullling cans, grocery items and packaged meats
- Preparing boxes
Unless other arrangements are made, volunteers should be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30-40 pounds.
Closed toe shoes are required.
Minimum Age :
Individuals as young as 14 years old and 55 inches tall may volunteer. Because Tarrant Area Food Bank is concerned about the safety of all volunteers, there are no exceptions to this policy.
