For the past 30 years, the CEC has been dedicated to supporting low-income individuals and families in Northeast Tarrant County. Their services have expanded to assist victims of family violence, homeless individuals, and seniors throughout Tarrant County. By providing employment readiness, education, counseling, safe housing, and essential resources, the CEC aims to guide these families out of crisis, break the cycle of poverty and violence, and offer hope for a brighter future. The organization initially began in 1975 within a small space at Richland Hills Church of Christ before recognizing the need for broader assistance in 1986.
