Join our Community Resource Team on the R.E.D. Bus! As a R.E.D. Bus Assistant, volunteers play a key role in supporting our mobile food distributions. Responsibilities include helping package and distribute food on the R.E.D. Bus, as well as assisting neighbors with completing intake forms and providing clarification when needed.
This role requires volunteers to be at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, pack, and communicate with neighbors in a respectful and supportive way.
Volunteers must have their own transportation to meet the R.E.D. Bus at its designated location for the day. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes, as the work can be physically active.
