As a Volunteer, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support, assisting with grocery transportation, and packaging food items. This position combines responsibilities such as filing paperwork, answering phones, taking groceries to cars, and packaging items.
Volunteer Roles:
Administrative Tasks:
- Sort and categorize documents for easy retrieval.
- Greet and assist callers, providing information and directing calls as necessary.
- Take messages.
Grocery Distribution:
- Help clients take their groceries from the pantry to their vehicles.
- Provide friendly assistance and ensure the safe handling of items.
- Offer additional support to individuals with mobility challenges.
- Packaging of Food Items
Requirements:
- Communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying grocery bags or packages.
