Groups and individuals are needed to assemble emergency food boxes at Tarrant Area Food Bank - West's distribution center (Parker County), in preparation for this week's predicted inclement weather.
ALL Volunteers (age 12 and up) in the Distribution Center are REQUIRED to be Vaccinated. Your Vaccine Card and I.D will be checked upon entering the building.
Unless other arrangements are made, volunteers should be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 30-40 pounds. Closed toe shoes are required.
Minimum Age and Chaperones:
Individuals as young as 12 years old and 55 inches tall may volunteer in QC. Children ages 12-13 require one adult chaperone for every 1 to 3 children volunteering. Kids ages 14-15 years old require one adult chaperone for every 1 to 10 youth. Because Tarrant Area Food Bank is concerned about the safety of all volunteers, there are no exceptions to this policy.
