TAFB Volunteer Ambassador Description
Tarrant Area Food Bank’s (TAFB) Volunteer Ambassador program is looking for friendly, energetic advocates with a passion to fight hunger. Volunteer Ambassadors represent TAFB across its 13-county service area at food drives, fairs, festivals, concerts, and other community events.
Duties:
- Participate in a training session and stay up to date on TAFB news prior to attending events.
- Represent TAFB at community events, passing out flyers, collecting food and/or funds, networking with attendees and providing basic information about TAFB and the programs and services that are offered
- Return any donations (food or funds) to TAFB after the completion of the event
Volunteer Ambassador Training
Lunch provided! Orientation includes all the information you'll need to represent the food bank. You'll take part in a tour of our warehouse facilities and a presentation on all things TAFB! After orientation, you'll be contacted with upcoming events as they arise.
