Volunteer: Neighborhood Needs Food Pantry Sorting and StockingFood pantries provide both perishable and non-perishable food items to families and individuals each month. The food provided by Tarrant Area Food Bank and donated by local grocery stores, as well as through local food drives. Volunteers roles may include but are not limited to: Greeter Registration Assistant Restocking Shelves Sacking Groceries Carrying Groceries to VehiclesIndividuals as young as 8 years old are invited to volunteer; however, ages 8-14 years old MUST have an adult chaperone. Volunteers must be able to lift 10 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
