Who We Are
The mission of the UNT Community Garden is to promote environmental education, grow food organically, and foster a community focused on a greener, healthier future for everyone!
What We Do
Volunteering in the garden is open to everyone, regardless of gardening experience!
UNT students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees can become garden members and share a plot with other UNT community members!
Our space features thirty raised gardening plots for growing organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers. Each plot is managed year-round by garden members and we have four staff-managed plots that donate all produce to the UNT Food Pantry! We also host two hydroponic towers and a community seed library!
